A 1-0 or 21-20 win for us will do as long as we can keep the pressure on Rangers I`ll be quite happy

A beautifully worked and coolly taken goal from Scott Robertson after 8 minutes sees Hibs take an early lead.

Quickly followed by a simply stunning left-footed strike by Hippolyte for Livingston.

And then immediately afterwards, Jason Cummings scores at the second attempt following a blocked shot. Livingston 1 Hibs 2 after 15 minutes.

PENALTY!!??? Hibs get a free-kick outside the box for a handball offence inside the box. Doh  Still as all Celtic fans know, it evens itself out over the season, so there's no use in making a fuss about it. Whistle

The Hibs defence struggle with a long cross ball and Oxley makes a smart save from Mullen (?)

Within a matter of minutes, El Alagui heads over from a Hibs corner, then shoots straight at the Livi keeper.

Paul Hanlon booked for a handball in the centre circle. Half expected a penalty against us! Rolleyes

Just before half-time Livingston's Cole is dismissed for a second yellow card after a rash tackle.

HALF-TIME - Livingston 1 Hibs 2

This time it is a penalty for Hibs after McGeouch is brought down (?) - the referee making up for the first half handball? - but the Livi keeper saves it. A poor, poor spot-kick from McGeouch. Practise a bit more and keep it away from the keeper.

Livingston Sub - Boulding on for White. Hibs Sub - Malonga Doh on for El Alagui. Come on DM, prove me and thousands of Hibs fans wrong. I dare you.

Dja Djedje coming on for Cummings after 75 minutes. Hibs seem to be devoid of any attacking intent against the 10 men of Livingston. Mark Burchill will be very pleased with the way this is going at the minute. Oh, for Scott Allan to liven things up! Sad

Dja Djedje's looping header hooked off the line by Gallagher and then .............................. MALONGA scores. Running in from the left, a few stepovers, turned through 270 degrees and beats the keeper at the near post. I always liked him!!!! Angel

A veritable plethora of subs now. Livi bring on Glen and Sekajja for Hippolyte and Donaldson while Hibs bring on Craig for Fyvie. Meanwhile Livingston press forward to put some pressure on the Hibs defence.

Now that's more like it! Rolleyes  Malonga and Craig, looking like a couple of carthorses in the Epsom Derby, manage to pass up a golden opportunity in a breakaway.

3:1 Hibs. Sending off destroyed the game but who cares. 3 points is all that matters.

On to ER against Alloa and lets keep the pressure up on sevco.

FULL TIME - Livingston 1 Hibs 3.

My summary - a strangely flat second half from Hibs, who did comfortably beat Livingston, but struggled to look good doing it. Malonga is still not good enough, but, all credit to him, he did score an excellent goal.

Puts some pressure back on Rangers with that win. Neither team can afford to slip up now, going to go to the wire I think!! Well done!!

Good result for the team thought Fyvie was excellent Robertson not far behind took his goal well but what is it with these balls getting pumped into our box the young lad scored a cracker but we should have defended it much better.
Still home game on sat another 3 points and a few goals would do nicely
