All said and done, I'd have taken the point at any time before 7:45 last night if offered it, but Vaughan now puts us a man light for Saturday when the 3 points on offer are arguably much more important to us.

Having watched the YouTube highlights (I only saw the last 2 goals last night), good finishing for both of ours if somewhat weak defending maybe on their behalf, but they scored both their's with relative tap-in's from a similar position on the left full back side of the six yard box. However if someone tries to tell me the final "pass" (a completely scuffed shot surely?) for their second goal was intentional, somehow I just won't believe you. That said, I'll need to watch our second goal a few more times to try and work out how we didn't have a player offside in that interchange of passes by the corner flag/dead ball line.

The Beeb text referenced a booking for handball early in the game to a Norwich player but didn't mention that a goal had been disallowed. It was only when Radio L666s came back on-line and Oggy and Kieron mentioned it that I was aware of it. Seems, according to them, that the ref rightly chalked it off after discussions with the lino, but they say she didn't apparently flag for it at the time.

Definitely onside after further reviews. Cheers Wakey.

How come we only ever post 1 minute of highlights when other clubs do a better job? Not sure they needed to replay their goals half-a-dozen times though. Smile

Yes there have been times when 1 minute was 40 seconds too many but ........ you get my drift?

Me too, JASOG. I'd be throwing the book at any clown (oops, I did say it Rolleyes  ) who got booked for a goal celebration, A. - I'm sure he could be emotional and not take his shirt off and B. what's wrong with the Alan Shearer goal celebration?

Can anybody explain why FIFA or whoever it was, made up this ridiculous rule that ripping one's shirt off in a goal celebration should be deemed as bookable?
Running into the crowd, fair enough, H&S issues and all that, but ripping your shirt of? Huh
And anyway, what kind of burk rips his shirt off to show he's a big soft vest wearing jessie?

'Cause they were sick to the back teeth of seeing these thick sheeplike players copying the first one that thought to do it. I'd go one further. Anyone who does the rockin baby thing, I'd 'ave their bloody arms off! Maybe a bit harsh, but I tell ye wot, they won't do it again!  Big Grin

I seem to remember it came after a player took his shirt off and a political message was written underneath.
It definitely was FIFA that did it, and also I think it's to do with muslim countries finding bare chests offensive.

What really upsets me the most though is that women footballers don't find the need to do it. Criminal.
