Andre Gray has left Championship strugglers Plymouth Argyle after his short-term contract came to an end.
The 33-year-old moved to Home Park as a free agent in October after leaving Saudi Arabian side Al-Riyadh in the summer.
He went on to score three goals in 13 appearances, which included five starts.
The former Burnley, Brentford and Luton Town forward will be best remembered by Argyle fans for the two goals he scored in the 2-2 draw with another of his former clubs Watford.
Having fired in an excellent volley to draw the sides level at 1-1 he curled in an effort from the corner of the penalty area deep in second-half stoppage time to seal a point in the match on 22 November.
His departure comes as Ibrahim Cissoko returns to fitness, while Muhamed Tijani, who he replaced, is also due back within the next month.
Former Argyle boss Wayne Rooney had been looking for more attacking firepower before leaving the club earlier this week, with Gray's wages now free to be used elsewhere on the squad during this month's transfer window.

Plymouth Argyle have signed Ghana midfielder Michael Baidoo for a club-record undisclosed fee from Swedish side Elfsborg.
The 25-year-old, who was in the crowd to watch Argyle draw 2-2 with Bristol City on New Year's Day, has agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Home Park.
Argyle had tried to bring in Baidoo in the summer, but Elfsborg resisted the move because of their Europa League campaign.
The fee is in excess of the £1m fees they paid for Bali Mumba and Morgan Whittaker in the summer of 2023 and comes after the club sold defender Lewis Gibson for a more than £1m earlier on Friday.
Baidoo scored 10 goals in 27 league appearances in 2024 for Elfsborg as they finished seventh in the Swedish top flight.
He has scored five goals in the Europa League this season, including the winning penalty kick when Elfsborg beat Italian giants Roma 1-0 in October.
Baidoo has three senior international appearances for Ghana.
"Michael is someone we have been aware of for a long time, and I am delighted that we have finally been able to bring him to Argyle,” head of recruitment Jim Dickinson told the club website.
"He comes to the club with excellent pedigree having been the star of Elfsborg's Europa League campaign this season and recently made his international debut for Ghana.
"He can play a variety of positions so will add real versatility to the squad, but most of all chose to come to Argyle ahead of other top clubs throughout Europe.
"He is excited to play in England and show what he can do, and we believe he will make a real impact on English football.“

Plymouth Argyle have signed Poland left-back Tymoteusz Puchacz on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old joins from German Bundesliga club Holstein Kiel with an option for the Championship side to buy him in the summer.
He has won 15 caps for his country and has been part of Poland's squads for the past two European Championships.
He joined Holstein Kiel last summer after three seasons at Union Berlin, where he had loan spells at Kaiserslautern Panathinaikos and Trabzonspor - who he helped win the Turkish title.
"He comes to Argyle with an excellent record and varied experience from several big clubs throughout Europe.
"There was plenty of competition for his signature, but he is excited by the challenge ahead and felt Argyle was the best fit for the next stage of his career.
"He is naturally left-footed, good on the ball, and consistently provides assists, so will provide good balance to the left side of defence but also add further competition for places."

Plymouth Argyle have signed Ukrainian international Maksym Talovierov from LASK for a club "record fee".
The 24-year-old centre-back has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Home Park.
Talovierov has seven international caps since making his Ukraine debut last year and made 49 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga for LASK.
He has also played for Slavia Prague, Slovan Liberec and Dynamo Ceske Budejovice.
Talovierov provides much-needed depth to the Argyle defence, with Brendan Galloway out for the season and Lewis Gibson having left for Preston North End earlier this month.
Plymouth stated the deal represented a record fee for the club,, external but did not state the exact amount. It is the second time they have broken their transfer record in this window having previously done so in signing Michael Baidoo from Elsborg.
"I have been open since I joined Argyle that we would be patient to bring in the right players who could help the team," Plymouth head coach Miron Muslic told the club's website, external.
"In Maksym we feel we have done just that as he is a commanding presence who will add height and physicality to the side, but he is also good on the ball and technically good.
"Most importantly, he is a good defender and will strengthen our options in the defensive department of the squad."
The Pilgrims are bottom of the Championship table but could call on Talovierov for Saturday's visit of West Bromwich Albion, subject to EFL approval and international clearance.

Plymouth Argyle have signed experienced striker Jamie Paterson on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old was released by Coventry City earlier this month and has played more than 450 matches in the English Football League for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Bristol City and Swansea City.
He is Argyle's first new signing since they were relegated from the Championship, and the first under the direction of new head of football operations David Fox.
"He has spent virtually his whole career in the Championship, and to have a player of his quality and experience in our squad will be of great benefit," Fox told the club website, external.
Paterson's last appearance for Coventry came in the 3-1 loss at Plymouth last month - he joined the Sky Blues on a short-term deal in January from Major League Soccer club Charlotte FC.
"I am very happy that we have acted quickly to make our first signing of the summer," Argyle head coach Miron Muslic said.
"I spoke to Jamie on a video call last week and I think his character and experience will fit in perfectly in our locker room.
"He can play in a variety of positions along the front line, and will complement the way we want to play next season."
Argyle have not revealed the length of Paterson's contract at Home Park.

Plymouth Argyle have signed free-agent former Aberdeen defender Jack MacKenzie.
The 25-year-old, who left the Dons this week, has agreed a three-year contract with the Pilgrims, who were relegated to League One this season.
MacKenzie helped the Dons win the Scottish Cup last week when they beat Celtic on penalties and was called up to the Scotland squad for the first time last year.
He is the third new signing for Argyle this summer after Coventry City striker Jamie Paterson and Exeter City midfielder Caleb Watts agreed free transfers last week.
"This is a big move for Jack, moving away from his home town, swapping the North East of Scotland for the South West of England, but I've been really impressed with his desire to join the project here at Argyle,” Argyle’s head of football operations David Fox said.
"We see Jack as a very versatile player. He is able to play in multiple positions, and his adaptability and commitment were something we highlighted very early on in our recruitment of him."

Sierra Leone forward Mustapha Bundu has rejected Plymouth Argyle's offer of a new contract.
The 28-year-old was a free agent after his deal came to an end this summer and is set to join a German second tier side.
Bundu scored 14 goals in 70 appearances for the Pilgrims after moving to the club from Belgian side Anderlecht in September 2023.
He found his best form towards the end of last season under former boss Miron Muslic - who has since taken over at Schalke.
He scored six goals in his final 10 appearances for the Pilgrims including four in his last four games as Argyle were relegated to League One after ending the season three points adrift of safety.

Plymouth Argyle have signed St Mirren striker Owen Oseni for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old has signed a three-year contract after a remarkable rise through the leagues in England and Scotland in the past year.
The Irish striker joined National League side Gateshead last July after being released by Derby County and scored 13 goals in 24 league appearances before moving to St Mirren in January.
Despite making just 11 substitute appearances for the Scottish top-flight side, Oseni has done enough to persuade Argyle to bring him to Devon.
Argyle are in need of additional attackers after Ryan Hardie and Mustapha Bundu left the club this month - new signing Jamie Paterson is their only recognised senior forward.
"His form with Gateshead shows that he is a player who knows where the goal is," head coach Tom Cleverley told the club website.
"He scored a variety of goals for them and is still at an age where he has a lot of potential for improvement.
"We think being with us at Argyle gives us a great opportunity to develop him as a player."
Head of football operations David Fox added: "It is important we put together a portfolio of forwards with a range of attributes.
"Our data shows that Owen offers an exceptional physical output – he is strong, quick and powerful.
"We will always look to add people who we feel will suit our style of play, and Owen will do that."

He made 13 appearances, five of them starts, for Plymouth in the second half of last season.
Argyle were relegated from the Championship at the end of the campaign and will start their League One season at home to Barnsley on 2 August.
