Congratulations on finally getting rid of the most over-employed, under-achieving manager in recent football history.

His CV - https://www.theguardian.com/football/202...-west-brom - like you didn't know it.

How he blusters past this in interviews is beyond me.

Hopefully we can both head north in the Chumpionship from here.

Not quite sure if we've got it right yet either, but the signs are far more encouraging so far.

Another hint to your next manager (how many times do I have to say it?) and I know he didn't start Saturday, Grant is wasted as a lone centre forward. He's not an old fashioned left winger either but somewhere in between he scores, frequently. You need someone else up there with him that is a centre forward or plays just right of that to play to his strengths.

Hell I'm just a Town fan that saw what he could do in the right place at the right time.

We didn't con you, you just keep employing coaches that put square pegs in round holes, but what do I know? It's not like we don't do that either.

As for your owner and Chairman - seems you got one of the wrong ends of the Midlands Chinese take-aways. They need to go too, but to who?

The Daily Mail today had Ian Ladyman bemoaning Bruce's position and telling the old lie that he's nothing to prove. Ask Newcastle, ask West Brom' in a relegation zone again but a whole division down! Ask Sheffield Wednesday who held their job open for him for months whilst he was going through family troubles and at the first sniff of a job on Tyneside he ditched them in favour of Sports Direct dosh. Nice chap, no way. Moderate centre back whose main attribute was being stubborn as fcku, which he carried into management.

The WBA squad needs refreshing for sure, but you should be challenging for the play-offs at worst. If you put Frank Skinner in charge & didn't bring in a single player, the team would move up to at least halfway in the Championship. That's how poor Bruce's performance has been. I hope he lumbers no one else with his leadership.

He's brought it on himself through karma !!! He was the best Wednesday manager in recent times ( not hard I know ) but still he'd basically sorted a team out to possibly get into the playoffs and Newcastle tugged on his heart strings ...from there he's basically had his karma medicine 10 times over !! Sad stuff for his boy though as it seems like from all the confrontation has ended his carear before it's even started .

Well we can all breath a big sigh of thank goodness for that, and now wait with baited breath who -who me Gourlies - brings in.
I have said last year it could be a mistake with Bruce, but no one said anything then.

Truth is if I'd been Bruce, I'd have also accepted the job knowing i'd have more money as a payoff in the bank to retire and enjoy the rest of my life to enjoy what I wanted to do. It's our useless board and owner who have allowed him to do that, and who we now need to get shot of.

I also agree with Imre, his son will be rarnished with his dad zero performances.

Come on baggies, bring in a young, enerergetic, clued in, manager. I dare you.

Surely to god he won't get another job ? He's a dreadful manager.

Dyche would be a great choice.

Bruce's son is his genetic twin. If have you some spare pity send it to Ukraine or Pakistan.

There are many clubs Sean Dyche would suit, but is West Brom one of them? Managers need not be one-trick ponies, but many are and I'm guessing Sean Dyche is one - he was as a player, well perhaps half-a-trick. Mr Gasperini at Atalanta for instance has completely changed the way his team plays this season and is challenging up the top of Serie A ........ at a time in his career when it was only the fans who weren't thinking that at his age it was time to go. Now he would be my idea of the ideal West Brom manager. He's got the style, he knows how to make more modest sized clubs compete with the giants and fans seem to love him. Are there any slightly younger versions of him about, who could be lured to the Midlands?

How do you feel about Carlos Corberan, now out of work?

I'm not really 'in the know' regarding loads of the younger names mentioned everywhere, but of the out-of-work chaps I know, I'd go for Scott Parker, who's teams always seem fairly well set up and positive.
To me, Mr Dyche seems more huff and puff, a la Pulis.
The ex Huddersfield & Watford guy also sounds pretty good. Snappy dresser too!
