To summarise yesterday,
the best thing about the day was that it didn't rain in Derby. it did in Wolvo before and after so I got soaked twice for the price of one. The other highlights of the game are available in about 60 seconds the EFL on Quest programme.
Thomas's free kicks into the box are screaming for someone to get on the end of them, only Sarr managed to do it once to any effect. Otherwise the whole team looks like they can't pass wind at time's let alone the right ball to each other and we still can't get a timely shot off when the opportunity arises.
Can't fault the effort but this was two points wasted against a disorganised and disjointed side.
Covid watch - the only social distancing going on was in the main stand and north stand, a little less so in the south and east stands. I've never seen a Derby stadium so sparsely populated for a match. Didn't see a single sardine in the concourse allocated to Town before the match wearing anything resembling a mask.

I’ve watched both the Wednesday game(live) and the Derby game(Sly Tv). Let’s be honest, we still look a poor team. Other than Sorba Thomas yesterday I thought the team were very poor and showed all the traits of last season, dodgy in defence and powder puff in attack.
Yes we were missing the coach and 4 players through Covid but can you really say that had an affect on our attacking play?

How come, Harrogate have been allowed to postpone their next three matches because of a covid outbreak, yet we weren't allowed to?
Or did we not even think to ask if we could?

According to the EFL rules it's up to the clubs to notify the EFL if they can't fulfil fixtures. I can't find anything that says how many Harrogate players have it but if they've determined a large number of the squad were in close contact with the one's that tested positive then they all have to isolate. Quite how our 4 or 5 were not in close contact with the rest of the squad is beyond me. That said, O'Brien is more likely to have the L666s variant than the Delta variant.
It comes back to my earlier point - how many of these precious little idiots have been vaccinated?

Radio Leeds did ask if Town had asked for the game to be postponed but the EFL confirmed no such request was made

Salford scored twice tonight inside 15 mins at Direby. Just saying.
