Town away at Luton

Any road up. Man of the match?

Schofield - The stats say that they had 4 shots on target. Apart from the goal, I don't remember any of them or him having any particular significant part in the game.

Pippa - Not his best game.

Toffolo - Had a much better game than recently and got some good crosses over, for nobody in particular. Sending off was too late to have any real affect on the game.

Sarr - Despite getting the equaliser and having a fairly solid game,it was his mistake that gave away their goal.

Keogh - Still looks like a calamity waiting to happen, but not today.

Bacuna - Frustrating again, but did take a great free kick from which the Nabygator equalised.

Hogg - Superb at doing what he does and he was again today. Unspectacularly getting on with it.

O'Brien - All action as usual, but his passing has completely lost it's radar this season.

McBenza - Did nowt. Went off at half time.

Holmes - Another all action performance like Lewis, but some of his passing, like Lewis was all over the place. Needed  longer legs to get on the end of a pass from Campbell.

Campbell - Put in a good cross for little Duane. Would've been a great assist had the recipient of the cross had longer legs. Spends too much time having to defend, which is not ideal.

Aarons - Looked lively when he came on and was at the heart of most of what we did well in the second half. Possible man of the half match.

Pritchard - Played his best twenty minutes this season, which isn't saying much. Put in a good dive to win the free kick from which we scored.

So who we going for? Oh, I don't know. Johnny the Hogg probably.

Well, Hoggy didn't get booked, and I was surprised it wasn't him that got sent off, if only it would have added add another £2 to my PFP total. Still I got 4 points on my Prediction League total, but to be honest, not many more this weekend. Think I'm doing another L666s. Peaked too early.

BBC site not showing it, but I now see it on other sites. Hit the snooze button in the 2nd half tbh, Town were sooooooo entertaining, so didn't see everything.

Another poor performance, another goal gifted to the opposition.

No complaints from me about the red card, yes he slips but then that means he is out of control and he does have his studs up.

My question is at what point do we start to complain about what we are seeing on the pitch and who do we direct the blame at?

Do we blame the coach for playing a system that clearly our defence struggle with given the amount of goals we gift the opposition.

Do we blame PH for obvious lack of investment in the team.

I know twitter is vile at times but I've now seen people start to question the coach and the board and I include both PH and DH in that. These are not from the usual sources either, some are from long standing and well respected Town supporters who have many more years supporting Town than I do.

There was a Preston player sent off earlier this season who slipped and caught his opponent, studs up. Barkhuisen I think it was. They appealed and he got it rescinded.
We have to appeal because the Preston one looked horrific. Toffolo tickled him in comparison.

I do feel it was a red card, he had no control. Tbh he can only blame himself it was his lack of control of the ball in the first place that cost him, if he'd just been sensible we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Also why do we always have every man back defending set pieces? Leave Holmes and aarons up on the half way line, oppo leave 3 back, we also have a quick counter option

Even with everyone back they were only the width of the post away from scoring the winner from the resulting free kick.

Given Mounié was sent off in the Prima Donna League for a gentle tap on the shin with his big toenail in comparison to Toffo's studs up slide yesterday, I'd be very surprised if we appealed it or won the appeal if we did.

Glass-half full view - we're unbeaten in 2 games
Glass half-empty view - we haven't won this year
Engineer/Scientist's view - the glass is too big for the job at hand, go and get a smaller one. Smartass
