I like how Monk has used this game. He has partnered Nuhiu and Winnall for 65 mins, then gone with Nuhiu and Rhodes and now has Fletcher and Rhodes on together. Hopefully he will learn from this as to what our best pairing is up front.

For me winnall and Bob have pulled us out if the shit being great subs and deserve to start maybe the next game as we will have to wait nearly 3 weeks for another home game . That's when they are at there best ! Rhodesia shite he's yesterday and we may aswell face facts and get him of the wage bill in the next transfer window ..fessi will come back strong in November aswell ! but it's no good trying to compare a cup game with a league game

I'm ok with that result. They put our virtually a full first team and whatever we think the gap in quality between PL players and Championship players has on the whole got a lot wider. We were able to give multiple squad players a full run out against a good team in a competitive situation, Monk will have learned something from that.
All the PL teams tonight have gone through easily - except Spurs who have lost on penalties to Colchester!!!!!
