Maybe, it was a bit of a snoozefest if truth be known.

I thought Murphy did well. He'll also have a few bruises after his three clashes with Stevie May!

While the first half was fairly dull, I thought the second half was entertaining with plenty of end to end play. The quality from either team wasn't great though. Attempts at goal were quite high at 31 between the two teams, but only 6 on target shows the problem we both have, real quality strikers!!! We hit the woodwork three times (if you count May's effort as two as it came off the bar onto the post) and had a couple of other good chances, and Westwood pulled off a couple of good saves at the other end. Scannel got in two really good crosses in the first half that thankfully for us no-one got on the end of but after that he was kept quiet by the full backs. I think 9 times out of 10 we would have been given the penalty when Maguire was definitely caught by your defender, but he made too much of the "dive" and gave the ref an easy out, he has to stop doing that!!!

On the whole it was probably a fair result, but one that doesn't help the cause of either team. The teams at the bottom are closing fast on us and above us a gap has formed to the top half. We both need a couple of scrappy wins and pull away from the bottom, but with the lack of goals its difficult to see where they will come from!!

Correct decision by the ref to book Maguire. He had no need to dive because Lynch did catch him, but he was already mid dive by then. I thought the ref had a good game really. May had to go for the 50/50 balls with Murphy who didn't bottle the challenges. Thought he was unlucky to get booked and the ref reacted to the crowd reaction.
Nakki needs to play from the start. He needs too many chances before he scores but he does get into the positions to get those chances and we looked more likely to score when he came on.
Poyet looked okay but no better than Hogg. I suppose it's just a case of Powell bringing players he's familiar with in the side. Not sure whether his loan will get extended though.
Coady looked off form for some reason which is a shame as he's usually one of our best players.
A fairly even game and the draw about right.

IMO it was a awful game of football which ended with probably the correct result, yes Wednesday came close with his effort striking the bar and the post and for me Wednesday should have had a pen but did either team really do enough to win it?

Town were very lethargic, lacked any pace or tempo. Harry Bunn was kept under wraps and although Scannell had a better game he was still controlled for the majority of the game. Credit to Wednesday they closed us down quickly and high up the pitch leaving with option other than to hoof it up to the isolated Holt

What penalty was that then? Posted from Wendies YouTube page.

Absolute snooze fest compared to the Forest game. Both sides set up not to lose. Didn't come to life until Wells came on and he needs to learn to pass the ball into the net when one on one rather than blast and hope. Happier with the clean sheet than the point.

That seems to be the gist. There have been much worse matches, of course!

see the penalty decision , could have been given , seen far worse not given ( Vaughan not getting one when basically rugby tackled)
wednesday fans cant really complain about decisions going against them when not too long ago they had a player booked twice and not sent off.

by all accounts a pretty flat performance going forward, it happens, they played very well the previous 7 or 8 games so lets hope its and exception and not the norm

Aye. All in favour go for a beer. Or alcoholic bev of choice. We need one after that. Maybe Sky will bugger off and find another match to cover now.

That was a reply to Art's post by the way. Having an interesting conversation with Imre on the Wednesday board Smile. Wot a hundred thousand carrot plonker he is.
