Bad enough mopping up other clubs rejects but to mop up rejects from the mls that's even lower standard then the SPL. ......
We're on the edge of an abyss ..... a long walk in the wilderness awaits us if these kind of deals keep happening ....... are we planning to change from the EFL to the over fifties walking football league .... our squad is almost that age already.

I've been banging the drum for a while, Chinese owners will be the death of WBA - Darren is helping them by lets say his "poor judgement" - Jenkins is just on a % of money that's flying around, he don't care.
Lai is asset stripping by stealth - Where has the £15 million that was available for Dack in August gone, where is the £10 million for Chadli - thats's £25 Million it's gone somewhere ?
It's just vanished and now we need a fkn bank loan? what's that secured against the Astle gates. We will be left with nothing - the Chinese nature is to strip everything then dump it.
Not to fret we're playing some attractive football atm, it's called the lull before the storm guys & girls.

To be fair ... football managers are bottom of the food chain ..... he could want to buy messi, ronaldo etc etc but if he's is not backed up by his bosses he is powerless ..... what other manager would come under these conditions ......

Well Judas sold out for a lot less - that's all I have to say for a so called "legend" who loves the club.
If he continues to be part of it, he's just there for the money as well. No if's but's or maybe's in my world.
He can see what's going on he's on the inside he should quit - mind you he's too stupid to work it out.
We are desperate for players, he has a few days break - he jets of for some warm weather training - trusting our new recruitment team to find us a couple of hidden gems - it all stinks. Where were the knockers who were saying I was being to critical at the beginning of the window when I said we should be bringing players in. They need to wake up and admit we are being stripped from the inside.
And BEFORE anyone starts saying i'm OTT explain where the £25 million has gone and why we need a bank loan and why don't Lai loan us some money. Then you can kick me.

We were never going to buy Dack for £15m and we have not been paid the Chadli money yet.
I would have been happier to keep JP than having Lai. He only bought the club because football was the latest 'hobby' for the chinese Premier...now that fad has passed he is not interested. I am really worried for us if we miss out on promotion this season!!

Phil, we all know you're passionate about the club, and sometimes you put a message on in haste, shall we say, but to KEEP on calling BD thick, stupid, etc. is in my view out of order. There's no need for it.
In this instance you're calling him again because he's not falling on his sword in protest. He is very early into his dream job, so I for one, wouldn't expect him to.

Hi I understand your reply totally and respect your thoughts that Darren is in his early days of his dream job and he shouldn't be considering his position within our club. That's your opinion and i'm fine with your thoughts on that.
But where do you think the money has gone?
Why didn't you comment on that?
Why are we loaning money from Barclay's and securing it on the ground assets?
I'm assuming you fine with these developments as you haven't commented on them?
Me calling Darren stupid - looks a bit trivial in the scope of things.

Hey, I'm not going to get drawn into a silly argument.
I've never called anyone stupid, thick, low IQ, etc etc, and I feel it's unfair to do so when that person isn't in a position to defend himself.
The other points are nothing to do with it.

Forgetting Darren for a minute, I'm not looking for an argument
What's your thoughts on where the money has gone?

Yeh, the money thing does look fishy. Personally though I don't look at things like that, as mostly I can't be bothered as I think you'll always be basing any conclusions on only part of the picture, unless you're a very clever investigating journalist or a HMRC mole!
