Awful TP replacing Gibbs with Nyom again, Gibbs was playing well, far better than Dawson today IMO.

Gibbs was subbed  ?
Jesus hope he picked up a slight knock or something or our only LB might be left back in the changing rooms  Doh

I said last week the Buck stops with TP now he has the players he wants if things dont change soon I can see the natives getting restless  Angry

Tactical I think Beefy, if replacing a LB who is playing well with a right back is a tactic, I know it is in some peoples eyes Whistle

Just got back to the car after watching that dross. We were that deep we had 2 LBs and 2 RBs. Woeful display because Pulis sets up for every game like we are playing Barcelona away. The bloke is a complete twat. We now have quite a good squad so what's wrong with trying to win at home.

The team looked well balanced but my god, we were that deep they were nearly in the stands. Is it any wonder there are so many empty seats. No entertainment value whatsoever.

Desperately poor match between two sides both devoid of quality in the final third. If either team had nicked a winner it would have been undeserved. All well and good talking about the final ball, but sooner or later we have to start producing it.

Back from the match. Agree with most of the comments above. Also am disappointed with the ref! Collins falls down injured and grabs the ball! This stopped J Rod breaking away. It was not a head injury and the whistle had not gone. Having been booked already he should have had a red! The ref didn't even give us a free kick! Dreadful decision. Then Heart kicks the ball out as yet another West Ham player is dying and the ref doesn't give a throw in he gives Heart the ball! Have the rules changed? Am I missing something or was he just a crap referee?

Ska'd, I disagree, in order to produce the final ball or the killer final ball we need to produce some first balls, maybe a second ball or two and even some balls in between first. Eight points from five games isn't a bad return although we have many tougher games still to come.

TP says it will take about 6 weeks for the team to gel and perform ....... difficult watching ahead.

I know you can't compare the quality in the squads, but how come Man City don't take six weeks to gel and perform? One point from Brighton and West Ham is pathetic, and the performances were even worse.

Over the last few years this "team needs time to gel" excuse has become prevalent among managers whose sides are not performing!! You can just imagine the same managers saying the same thing every day to the chairman as well, just to make sure the message sinks in!! It also seems to be used by teams that have only one or two new players!!!
