As many have already stated on here, what a dismal end to the season. Ok we finished 10th - at the start of the season we would have probably taken that! But my oh my, the last ten games have been dire. No attacking flair (shows how important Matty Phillips is) No blooding the youngsters - surely they couldn't have done any worse than the experienced pros? Relegation form to say the least. Thank goodness we had that good run in mid-season! Any other manager would have received his P45 for the recent run of results. Maybe Mr Pulis is flying out to China to receive it personally?
A very important Summer transfer wise or else we have had it next season. We need a striker who gets goals (Rondon couldn't score in a brothel!) We need to add younger players to our squad (NOT John Terry!) We will need a back up keeper to Fozzie too as Myhill has morphed into an immobile elephant man! Please Mr Lai do the business or you will have a lot of unhappy Baggies!

Good points well made beefy ....... many games have been lost due to poor finishing rather than bad play but the end result is just the same.

We beat Bournemouth 2-1 on the 25th February and that meant that we had reached 40 points with just under three months to spare. Since then we have picked up 5 points with 1 win, 2 draws and 9 defeats. That is pathetic really.

The meeting between Tony Pulis and the higher ups is going to be very interesting. For the results and performances up to and including the Bournemouth win Tony Pulis deserves the summer and the first 12 games of next season at least. For the results, performances and the loss of 2 league places since we reached 40 points he deserves the sack.

It's going to be an interesting couple of days and it won't surprise me whichever way it goes.

I think you've nailed it there, Josh.
Just how pathetic were we today and have been over the last 12 games? Absolutely pathetic we couldn't even hold out for a draw today which would have given us 8th place. Pathetic defence and pathetic we can't take our chances to put to bed games that we should have won or at least drawn.
Absolutely pathetic, Albion. Angry

Well at least he gave the kids a chance.......

I'm comforted by the thought that one day he'll be out of this club and I can start to care about football again.

Today for all the negative talk and all of Swansea's possession we outgunned them
In-fact Swansea had only two on target, guess where they ended up,
Rondon is as much to blame as anyone again.
But I do hate Pulis and his football at the moment, but maybe it isn't as bad as it has been,

I fear that as much as I love the Albion I will never care for football again, the FA's elite group of six that everything is geared up to benefit are so car out in front, until we get a modicum of balance (level playing field) where everyone can compete fairly most teams will be fitting for eighth and that does not float my boat.
Time for a European super league .....

Well what can I say. It`s so hard to try and play fast attacking football when you are carrying your deck chair under your arm as they have been since hitting 40 points. See you in August......... Maybe. DD Angry Angry
