Hibs v Ayr United, Sat 4 Feb, KO 3.00pm

I'm just expressing an element of disappointment re similar scenes and 'signs of concern' that I've previously witnessed and it could well have been remedied by better striking ability hfcb - the goal opps were there to be taken but certain players not clinical enough! Also the Jan transfer period was a disappointment for me but not the 'end of the world'. Hibs strongest line up is a very good team but that's when Neil Lennon chooses to field that team in bigger matches and without any injuries to worry about! I don't wanna witness any more 'carelessness' when we're in a top position that should see our players pushing on in a very confident and buoyant mood!

Spot on 0762, we have witnessed these types of frailties in past years that have led to a poor run and drop in performance and although signs are better with the present set up ..........still in the back of ones mind Huh ......  ...its called being a Hibs fan.  Whistle

It's also called 'FRUSTRATION' newhavenhibby lol at watching certain players who seem to be lacking an impetus to really 'push on' and I can understand hibeejim's comment of distrust in certain Hibs players not doing the job, particularly from the positive position that we currently occupy! The other part of that frustration is knowing that these players definitely 'raise their game' in bigger matches!! Rolleyes So it's not as though they are devoid of performing very well for Hibs - they can do it and we've witnessed that difference often enough when they clearly have 'something to prove'!

Aye,Saturday was as I expected teamwise, the manager trying to give us a wee advantage going to the pbs by resting some players...what we had on the pitch should have been enough to win. The fact that it didn't makes me worry a bit about Saturday whatever the result.

If we go up,we will need to overhaul the squad for the top flight.
