HT 0-0 : Rangers have lived dangerously on a couple of occasions, nevertheless I still expect us to win.

King Billy in the 90th saves the day.

Late winner from Billy King. Get in!

I feel relieved more than happy with that though - so much for learning our lessons. Really poor today. Passing from the back was awful, the midfield, perhaps unsurprisingly, lacking any cohesion within itself much less with the forwards. Admittedly the weather probably had a significant impact but we'd have done better to start with Zelalem instead of Ball to try to get through a Falkirk side that, predictably enough, just wanted to camp out with 10 men behind the ball and hit on the break. if we deserved to win it was probably only because Falkirk were pretty shite too.

Less said about the ref and his assistants the better.

Not a very fluid performance from Rangers today, a bit static, but we got the win, thanks to a debut goal from Billy King.
This result puts Rangers 8 points ahead of Hibernian and 10 points ahead of Falkirk, which means the job for today has been successfully done.

There's something a bit special about the last minute winner - I'll never forget Edu scoring in the 92nd.

For once, the stats don't go all in our favour. 60% possession as usual, but shots (and shots on goal) were well below average, and well below Falkirk's today.

However, the main stat - the one that counts above all else - is goals scored, and thankfully that went in our favour today.

8 (eight) points clear now.
