Except that abstard Shawcross who got himself sent off at the weekend. I was reyt looking forward to him getting a taste of his own medicine from Hutch.

From the beeb page on this match:

Stoke will be without skipper Ryan Shawcross for the League Cup quarter-final after he was dismissed in the loss to Sunderland.

Shay Given (knee) and Marc Muniesa (hamstring) are also unavailable.

Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal is without key midfielder Barry Bannan (knee) for the trip to the Potteries.
Youngster Joe Wildsmith is likely oblody certain to start in goal, while loan striker Gary Hooper is also eligible.

H, A, A, A, A

1-1.... Hooper

Was going to name the strongest line up we have but with our surprise element gone and with Stoke at home, it's hard to see a win. I'll go with a pretty strong team off.....

Wildsmith

Palmer, Lees, Turner, Wiggins

Lopez, Semedo

Wallace, McGugan, Helen
Hooper

It gets Turner, Wiggins, Lopez, McGugan and Hooper some much needed game time as we will need them up to full speed during the coming 2 months. While also resting some others
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....

OK. So you lot don't see the humor. And imre's all upset, bless him. Doh

And thurny is too busy with his bird. Don't ever use that expression in Newfoundland, where a "bird" = a "prick" as in penis. I once made that mistake and got laughed at by my class. Laugh

So, I'll change my mind, just like his nibs did for the last game. Doh

I'll go:

3-4 Nuhiu (sorry, Johnny Fantham, RIP)

How boring. Sleeping

Hutchinson basically saying what many who watch the games have said, keep the bite in the tackle but cut out the stupid, rash challenges because they are what is getting him booked.

We are no longer looking back at distant memories, we are as a club now all about creating new memories!!!!  Besides if you keep looking back at past glories you will need to change your username to Pei!! Whistle Besides you do realize that the younger Owls fans like Thurnscoe actually think your name is Imre and know nothing of the real "Imre"??

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.
