Rangers FC - The Same For Both Teams

I'm pretty sure it's not their decision - pitch is owned by council and anyone can hire it.

SSN interviewed the Alloa Athletic manager Danny Lennon and when he was asked why Rangers were training on their pitch, he said 'they asked'.

Correct. Council owned, Hearts hired it last season to,train on and it worked wonders with yet another away win. Good luckĀ

Having looked at their website I'm not positive the council own it but its available to hire by public for 120 an hour and they have "public" changing rooms or you Can pay a premium for "away" changing room.

Maybe they can't afford to turn away a couple of hundred quid but I suspect that the surface may have had some council input and such hires are compulsory.

I wouldn't give away a competitive advantage for the sake of 240 or so quid.

There are and there will be no complaints from Rangers regarding Alloa Athletic's (Council owned) plastic pitch.

I think the council paid for the pitch installation and in return get to rent it out.
