He is a decent player but still a bit raw when it comes to defending. Probably spent too much time not playing competitive football in the Man Utd set up. He is good going forward and a solid defender although prone to the odd mistake or rash challenge. But on the whole this is a good signing for you and him, whether we want him back after is very debatable and I suppose depends on how he does!!

I would argue he should be your first choice keeper.  Excellent shot stopper, bit flappy on crosses but I think if we didn't have Westwood, arguably the best keeper in the division, he would still be our first choice.

Will be interesting to see how May does for you. All too often Gray played him out wide or had him chasing the ball in midfield and I think this destroyed his confidence. He was prolific in Scotland but that probably doesn't mean much these days. I thought he might get a run in our team with the new manager in place but obviously he didn't impress. It would appear we at least got the money we paid for him last summer. Good luck to him.
