Division One results for Matchday 8: It's jjamez who has this week's top score, but despite Baggie Bob missing the entire Saturday programme, he still hasn't caught him up. He has overtaken neonfoxinthebox though into 2nd place with his 18 point matchday total. Neon scored 12 and Bob had 8. Which means Bob's lead is now cut to just 4 points.

Below those three comes Shep in 4th place, with ritchiebaby overtaking Snooty into 5th.

Neon and Snooty's scores were badly hampered by putting Town as a joker to beat Burton Albion. Rolleyes

Division Two results for Matchday 8: A four way way tie for the top score this week with themaclad, Devongone, theo and Wakey all scoring 20 points. Two points behind was St Charles with 18. All reasonable scores.

By contrast, Amelia had a stinker, scoring just 4, which included a minus 2 for her joker.

Talking of jokers, St Charles Owl sacrificed points for the old reverse psychology of jokering his own team to lose. His joker prediction of the Wednesday to lose 2-0 at Pompey worked wonders for the Owls who were hooting all the way home, having actually won 2-0. Those two minus points cost SCO the outright lead for this matchday and also saw him drop to the bottom of the table.

Lord Snooty, you give me far too much credit, I actually thought we would lose 2-0 and was so confident I put the joker on it as well!!! Good to be wrong sometimes!!
