Still wondering why I didn't pick Kane for one of the games Laugh

... and apologies for late change. I was at my friends for a later than usual Sunday lunch. I'd heard Foden was out due to an appendectomy on the way there but I'd no idea who was playing until we'd finished eating, somewhat after 4:30pm.

I've got home in time to see the last 30 minutes (ish).

at least you got home, we had to miss the game at Wembley thanks to Air Traffic control and a 25hour 30minute journey back home from Italy

I saw your comments on Twitter, Wakey. Sounds like some nightmare.

I got delayed 27 hours in an airport in Spain in 1979 and I've never flown since. Put me right off, it did.

Good grief Wakey, was it the striking, fighting, rioting, "we've not had a holiday for two weeks so feck you lot" or as they might say "va te faire foutre" Frogs (it normally is) or the I'tilians? Electric Scooters might have got you back home sooner, nay bollocks, maybe have a quiet word with those chaps with the RIBS near Calais. Might have cost you a couple of grand though, and a free trip to Rwanda.

Still trying to work out why "The Arse" have Visit Rwanda on their shirts and advertising. Does anyone that lives or works in London know what "due diligence" actually means when it comes to football or Guvinmint?

Air traffic control in Munich went down we connecting to a flight to Manchester from there.

When we arrived in Munich they cancelled our flight to Manchester and rebooked us on a flight to Venice where we were to catch a connecting flight to Zurich, we were then supposed to spend the night in Zurich before flying home in the morning to Manchester.
However we managed to change that to a Flight to Frankfurt departing at 19:00 and a connecting flight from Frankfurt at 22:05
Our flight eventually boarded at 20:50 and we arrived in Frankfurt at 22:05, our flight left without us and many others. Another text from the airline said we were rebooked on the same 22:05 flight on TUESDAY!
After another long wait in a massive queue of hundreds we’re booked onto a flight to Liverpool on Sunday morning a put up in a hotel for the night, I say night but what with our late arrival and the clocks going forward it was 3hrs.
Our flight to Liverpool was delayed by about 25minutes, we arrived in Liverpool and waited for our luggage along with about 30 others for well over an hour…it never turned up and eventually someone from Swiss port eventually turned up so we could report it missing. We had to make our own back to Manchester, we got a taxi because I was pissed off at this stage paid a further £25 penalty for over staying in the car park and then when I got home I went to the pub and got very very drunk

Happy days!

Nightmare indeed. I've been pissed about a few times due to cancelled (or more likely never existed in the first place) flights, but I don't ever recall being given tickets to go to two airports in the wrong direction first.
