Not sure why but I was back on the Both Ends fred for a while before I realised not to press send.
Any way, red card absolutely, deserved it all day long

After 5 mins we’d given them 2 opportunities to score by gifting them the ball, after 12 minutes that was up to 4!
After half an hour we started passing to our own players and looked a lot better and can consider ourselves unlucky.
Everton’s disallowed goal, didn’t look offside. Towns has been disallowed for Campbell Obstructing the keeper..
Going forward and this is my Mike Bassett moment, can we play 442 with Thomas being given less defensive responsibilities. The lad would scare the shit out of most defences if he is allowed to

I can't remember the last time we beat a team who had had a man sent off.
Apparently it was Watford aways in 2017. But we were down to 10 men ourselves. That's the way then. If they get one sent off, we have to as well.

We were excellent 2nd half.
Gave them a scare but ultimately not clinical enough in last 3rd and too easy to beat in first 3rd.

Well, I think we played well for at least the 30 mins I called for at the start of the fred either side of half time. Some calmer and/or more clinical finishing could have easily seen that go to penalties, but it is what it is. More of the same on Saturday please.
