Well I have spent the day cycling 55 miles around Lichfield and returned with the hope we have signed someone or something exciting may have been muted and as Normal for Every transfer window..... NOTHING. No doubt we'll get our panic buys in on the last day

I read this Thread twice a day but, from previous years' experience, don't anticipate anything until the end of August. Agents wait until better offers come along - we do know that. It would be nice to get the players bedded in during the pre-season friendlies, but they realistically bed-in during September. With our early season fixtures we need every 3 points we can get to avoid the drop next season. (I suppose it's the same for all teams, though.)
I just wish they would scrap The Window.

Ally Roberston in the Express & Dingle predicts business as usual and very little change in how we aquire players - also that TP knows how to build a squad over time and actually (unlike me and most of you) enjoys the last minute rush to the window saying:
