Hi, as you'll see from the notice from Stairs, we're moving to a free platform. We owe Stairs immense gratitude for taking on and funding this site when the last one went belly up. However, the man needs to fund his retirement now and so he should! Proboards come recommended. It appears we'll have most of what we're used to, bells & whistles-wise, and it looks like an acceptable alternative to me. You'll need to copy, paste, and save/ transfer anything you want to keep as soon as possible before this one signals the last post.
Three cheers for Stairs and lets continue with our happy band in a new corner of the interweb.

How do you do the threads transfer if you're not a mod AmChaff? Also, I can't use the _ in theo_luddite as a username so I doubt it will work anyway.

Good old copy and pasting, I'm afraid, theo. There is no fancy way of doing it. Sorry, just realised I made it sound possible.

No probs, I worked out the easiest way is to start a new thread, copy and paste what you want from the old site to get it started then add the relevant sccreen grabs from freeimage.host or whatever you use for your own images.

Oh, and thanks Stairs for finding a way to keep this all going, even though we'll lose a chunk of our lives that we've collectively wasted on here over the years but

Well AmChaff, at least we've somewhere to while away our (retired in my case) hours with folk of somewhat similar minds in between weeding the garden, mowing the grass, keeping the local open, reading something or another, mowing the grass again and er, oh yeah, watching Town, or the club(s) of your choice. A bit of travel now and then doesn't hurt either, but that bloody grass when you came back ...... prefer it to concrete though. I can already hear I need to go back and adjust my notifications. My phone is going nuts.

It's dark now so the weeding will have to wait until tomorrow.
