Don't think he is trying to dodge responsibility. He misjudged it thinking that they could go one more time.

Got back to land and internet yesterday so was very surprised to see that scoreline based on relative results and posiitons before the game.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I'm sure based on the outcome CC might have wished to do something else. However, he is not one to shirk responsibility and will have learned from that experience.
Like SCO said, CC is always upbeat, keen to explain things and the relative tiredness was the reason and not an excuse or blame. If he had made wholesale changes and lost the game he would have been berated for changing around a strong unbeaten team. He didn't change and lost so he should have !!. Who'd be a football manager ?
There's still a long way to go and hopefully our squad depth and more rotation will see us succeed longer term and get at least a play off spot.
A lot can change too. Last season Derby looked dead certs and then had a major melt down to relegation form results the last 2 months of the season.

If he learns & rotates better over the next four matches then all will be forgive.
If he makes the same mistake again then fans (and more importantly DC) will not be happy.

I wouldn't discount 'Udders so quickly. We just lost to a team on a new manager bounce, could happen again.
Sorry, I've gone all pessimistic again. What if the last few weeks were a blip and we're actually not that good and fall away from here on in. Grr. Why does supporting Wednesday make me feel like this so often?
