Tango - he of the bare chest - used to live and drink in these here parts. Used to bring his lad into The Mitre for a game of 'arrers' after watching Wendies, but took his bat home when he eventually got barred for not taking his kid home after 10:00pm, let alone the 9:00pm requested time. The Mitre, on Lower Green Tettenhall is no more either, sadly.

He has also been banned from all Wednesday games as well due to issues with stewards at Rotherham and Hillsborough. Been a campaign to let him back but then Covid hit so nothing since and as far as I know he is still serving a ban.

Do you ever score?
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

Not at this time of the season. Not even in our promotion season. Only goal we got in the three play off games was an own goal.

Pah - he sends Soup-er Col out to get warmed up and never put's him on. How am I supposed to win the prediction league with two southern numpties in charge eh? Huh Tongue Just two more 0-0's for safety then, maybe one.

Hopefully we won't need to score. Thanks to Wigan we have a 3 points and at least 10 goals advantage over Hull and Luton. Barnsley have a tough run-in, so I'm more confident about our chances than I was 2 weeks ago. Still rubbish, though.

A point's a point, but we really do need to beat West Brom now. If only for the state of my own health. I couldn't stand going into the final game with the prospect of us still going down being a possibility. Sick

Man of the match? It has to be Jonas Lossl. That one just before half time was absolutely fantastic and that saved us the point, which in the long run, could be as vital as that one at Stamford Bridge.

The rest of the defence did well. Stears and Schinds looked solid enough. The two wing backs looked great again. Midfield looked good, particularly good to see Lewis getting up and down as much again. Smiffy excellent.

WHY THE BLOODY HELL CAN'T WE SCORE? Huh  Huh  Huh  Huh  Huh  Huh
