What else is there to do? have you looked at the archives there is hours of not normally available footage, I have to recommend 'Full Throstle' nearly 3 hours and the most comprehensive documentary on the Albion I have seen by a long way. As for the topic what make you think it is true? there is nothing on Sky, BBC, the Club 'website or Twitter' or the EFL site. There is a press release due but it is supposed to be about the discussions with the PFA about player wages.

The original OP was obviously fake but as other leagues seem to be moving towards voiding the season, are you guys worried the EFL and PL may follow suit??

To be honest, St Charles, I don't think there is an ideal solution and any outcome will leave plenty of fans pissed off...and plenty of lawyers very happy. I can see an argument for voiding the season and I can see the argument for settling the season as teams now stand, which would obviously suit the Albion. All I would ask is that any decision taken is done for the benefit of the game in the long term...who am I kidding ? Tongue The decision will be based on narrow financial interest by CEOs and Chairmen/women who will be solely concerned on protecting the interests of their club and won't give a flying f**k about what is fair or good for the game. Hence the bleatings a few weeks ago by Karen Brady at West Ham.

Although I enjoy the Albion playing in the Championship and would happily avoid the PL, I want us to be promoted - we have nine games to go, are six points ahead of Fulham and have been in the top two consistently since November whilst Norwich have played 29 games and achieved 21 points, so they've had plenty of opportunity not to be bottom of the PL. It seems to me that, if you're in the bottom three so far into the season means you deserve to be there so tough sh*t if you now get relegated. You should be replaced by teams who have performed well in the next league down at this point in time. It's not like we're only 10/15/20 games into the season. The fact that the Vile are in the PL bottom three would be a delicious bonus.

Sorry that was a rambling reply. There's no right or wrong, but I think there are decisions that could be taken that would be right for the game...I'm not holding my breath.

Lots to consider, most supporters are not looking at the bigger picture - extending this season brings it's own problems. The longer no decision are made the congestion increases and contracts will expire.

1, Robinson & Diangana return to SW & WHU at the end of May.
2, Pereira and Krov loans end at the end of June - as it stands we have no rights to sign either and probably not the money either.
3, Ferguson, Edwards, Palmer, Wilson, Al Habsi, Bond, Fritzwater, Peltier, Brunt & Barry contracts all end on the 30th of June.
4, The Olympic games have now been deferred to 2021.
5, The 2020 European Championships are now scheduled 2021 (how Germany & France can play in both the Euro's & the Olympics is TBC) .
6, The World Cup Qualifiers are to be played in 2021 prep for 2022 finals.
7, The African Cup of Nations is scheduled for 2021.

My opinion is everything is void "now" and all parachute money remains in place, so were are not robbed of promotion and a massive drop in income.
Or we are promoted.

Whatever happens you just cannot simply delay / defer games. It's is not an option. It's a mess.

Periera will be signed it’s already to go nothing will stop this signing. There will be a few released who would normally be kept on. I think this season will be ended soon as it’s to big a risk to keep it going. Liability will come into it as you cannot risk players or staff and contracts will end.

Hi wba13 - I'm not 100% sure about Pereira - it has been suggested he has not played enough games to trigger his transfer?
If so that makes him freely available from June 30th, I'm not even sure we have a spare £9 million to sign him either?
Without him playing more games before June 30th and Dowling finding the money - without promotion and a big drop in
parachute money next season it has to be doubtful his signing will happen.
A really nasty story is if the seals sell Jack they are going to put a big offer for him.  Doh
Nothing surprises me anymore.
An abundance of dumped players will be free to sign if we need replacements so I'm not fretting about anyone leaving.

Hi blue boy , the way I read the Periera situation is that we have agreed a fee which is guaranteed after 35 games or when the season finishes, whichever comes first. The way I look at this is we sign him we then know we can sell if we need to for double the price. But time will tell. As for this season for me it has to be ended now as there are to many risks involved with the players health being a priority. It only needs one player to catch this virus through playing football and it opens up all sorts of liability cases.I want it to continue for selfish reasons that I miss the buzz of attending with my Granddaughter but it’s only right for me that there is no more football until it is virtually guaranteed that it is safe.
