Matt was mentioning the other day about his record with the Gamball and how many points he must have lost during the season, and how right he was
Below are the tables as they are and if the Gamball hadn't been worth 16, 8 or -4 points, and treated just as an ordinary match.
Zinman has only lost 2 points from playing the 24 Gamballs so far and remains top with an extended lead over Sanjay who’s lost a similar small number of points from playing just 13 so far this season.
DD is one to benefit to the tune of 28 points and would drop to 3rd without those points helping his total along.
BBB & St Charles both share similar profits in points and would be part of a 3 way tie for 4th, joined by Matt whose lost a massive 49 points by being either brave or unlucky (I’m being kind there

) when it comes to predicting the Gamball, indeed he’d be eyeing the upper reaches and not be involved in a relegation battle like he currently is.
Derby, Worldclass and Twerton have all enjoyed some success by varying amounts which wouldn’t affect their position, but would make them a lot closer points wise.
Amelia can thank the Gamball for her mid table security because without it she would be 35 points worse off in 10th and filling one of the relegation places along with Joker who though still bottom would be 17 points better off.
Both promotion places would be very much up for grabs if the Gamball didn’t have such a big effect.
Beefy would be top of the pile in the Championship gaining 13 points on where he stands in the current league table, while Bomber would be keeping him company just 2 points back in 2nd.
In 3rd we find our runaway leader Snooty who can thank the Gamball for his position at the top as he’s amassed a profit of 46 valuable points from correct results and scores.
The rest of the table would remain unaltered, but 4eva would be a little further away from challenging for a promotion place in 4th and also fending off BaggiOne in 5th at a reduced margin.
Salop would sit in 6th with a rounded score of exactly 100, still comfortably ahead of Stairs in 7th, Quantum in 8th, while Vicar doesn’t improve and remains bottom although closer to those above him.
It’s worth noting that everyone has had success by playing the Gamball and is effectively better off than they would be without it.
It would be interesting to get peoples opinion on the week changing Gamball, its positives and its negatives, I think it might have gone to the vote before this season started as to whether we kept it.
There are ideas that next season will see some sort of change, maybe rewarding performances in the other games rather than it revolving around 1 game

.
