Why oh why can't we play fast flowing football like Swansea City ?
Answer: Pulis - The Anti-Christ of football.
Beaten by the much better side.

We should have had 8th place wrapped up in a silver bow by the end of April. Instead we have bottled it and now finish in 10th. We beat Bournemouth 2-1 on the 25th February and that meant that we had reached 40 points with just under three months to spare. Since then we have picked up 5 points with 1 win, 2 draws and 9 defeats. That is pathetic really.

The meeting between Tony Pulis and the higher ups is going to be very interesting. For the results and performances up to and including the Bournemouth win Tony Pulis deserves the summer and the first 12 games of next season at least. For the results, performances and the loss of 2 league places since we reached 40 points he deserves the sack.

It's going to be an interesting couple of days and it won't surprise me whichever way it goes.

Why do I feel worse than when we were last relegated, I will tell you why.

5 points from our last 36 ........ that is worse than relegation form.

Finished five points above seventeenth ......... Good season .... Good two thirds of a season. Need massive investment.

Has any team ever had a worse collapse?

Cheer up everyone. At least we might be getting John Terry in the summer to revitalise the squad.

I'd love to know what the owner and his management team regard as acceptable. Five points out of 36 is appalling, any manager would be dismissed for that. Disappointingly, we know this will not apply to Pulis because there seems to be a view that only he can keep us in the Premier League. This is patent nonsense but what we can guarantee is that, in endeavouring to do so, his football will be wretched with no concern for the paying fans. I can't understand why the owner would give him his allegedly required £40 million, does anyone on this site have any confidence he would spend it players that would transform the side and it's style of play. No, neither do I. It's nothing personal against the man personally but please terminate his contract. The style was hard enough to accept when we were winning; when you take five points out of 36, with the same style, it's time for a change

We were eight minutes from finishing eighth, I was going to say have we ever conceded a more expensive goal ( 2 places ...3.8 million pounds ) but then I thought derby at Wembley.

I hate the premier league ........ Has there ever been a bigger gap between 7th and 8th .... set to get bigger in the summer.

An average of five points from twelve games is slightly better than Derby's average in their 11 point season.

I know its poor guys but not as bad as towards the end of last Season where we didn't have many shots at all
Today for all the negative talk and all of Swansea's possession we outgunned them
In-fact Swansea had only two on target, guess where they ended up,
Rondon is as much to blame as anyone again.
But I do hate Pulis and his football at the moment, but maybe it isn't as bad as it has been,
