I think the last official strike by SFA refs exposed some 'home truths' at that time when lotsa Scottish footie fans noticed the standard of officiation by the hired 'ref locums' to be very good, a positive reaction that the SFA conveniently ignored!

I think the standard over all of refs is terrible
The fact that Dallas Jnr gets fast tracked, reminds me of a documentary that was out years ago about the Lanarkshire football Association.
Set out to prove that the masons ran it and it was jobs for the boys.
People including Dallas senior were fast tracked because of the Ludge connections rather than ability.
I get it they make mistakes (honest I do) but some decisions just defy logic.
The semi final hand ball from Josh Meekings sticks in my head as the most blatant "honest mistake" in years in a big game. (encase you have forgotten https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egZJDmKafpo) right in front of the 5th official
I know Celtic got stick for going to war with the refs but I feel something should be done ....not because of any bias but simply because of the incompetence of our senior refs.

I'll never forget that 'shocker' edgie!!! And the 'terrible trio' of ref officials either - McLean (a perfect unimpeded position from 6 yards) and Muir behind the goal + AN Other tosser of an AR - unbelievable and embarrassing that prob stopped a rare treble winning achievement!

IMO a massive 'cover up' by the SFA! Re the AR behind the goal, Alan Muir, he recently officiated Hibs 1-8 thrashing of the Rose at Tynecastle and their goal was due to one of the worst simulated 'slo mo dives' you'll ever see, the pk decision lambasted later on by Mikey Stewart on bbc Sportscene! No Hibs fans bothered too much about denying the junior outfit that goal because it didn't matter anyway - another cheat's goal and maybe it's just the atmosphere at Tynecastle or just more 'divers' that play on this ground! Also Muir missed an easy straight red card incident in a horrendous last mins over the top tackle by the Rose LB that actually hurt Hibs winger Humphrey! The guy is another very poor ref official and part of that 'terrible trio'!

Must admit when I read it I thought any Jambos would have to say something and in this instance I can see their point of view.  All sides benefit at times from players going down too easily ( I can think of a couple of McGinns from the past few seasons and of course we had the McGregor handball last Saturday that should have been given) and from the games I have seen I don't think the JT's are any worse than any other side we play and better than players such as Pawlett of Aberdeen!

I realise it upsets you but just keep the personal stuff/ insults under control  ( Inveruries comment is fine and is his opinion)......we are all entitled to our opinions whether seen from green or maroon tinted spectacles.
