Well Town may not have played there before, but for Nahki Wells this is a happy hunting ground. If I remember rightly he fired Bradford City to Wembley and the play off final from this ground.

Where they put the other 2000 is beyond me. Crap game for two sides that like to attack but I'll take the points.

Delighted with 3 points cos we wont play as poor as that and get away with it very often very disjointed, they stopped us pressed high we had little answer to try get going, passing going astray allover. At HT would have easily accepted a point.
Cranie my MOM says it all, DW made the changes to keep Smith, Palmer, Lowe, VLP fresh for Friday maybe.
Bunn awful 50 mins, Billing never got going, credit to Hef and Schindy for their aerial battle with O Grady and the pace and skill of Ward up front. Hogg and Moy very busy to keep some hold over their 5 man midfield.
Burton were typically game mobile lumped it long and put us under pressure, chances at both ends they just didnt have the quality on the bench to change the game, where Palmer brought energy and direct play to ours.
Burton did clear a shot off the line shortly after HT and Wells nodded home in front of the 1500 packed bank of standing away fans, we did enough to hold on, just, picked up a few bookings along the way on a wet surface.
Not an entertaining game new ground for everyone a brucey bonus.

We needed a win to keep me interested in doing some more. I was starting to think I was Mr. Jinx. Pixie and Dixie couldn't have got another thread out of me if we lost this one.

I was almost bang on with my team prediction. Didn't think he'd rest both full-backs but pleased Crains got a start again. He's really pushing Smith hard for that spot now. Could even be played at CB if his form continues. Oggy was talking on BBC Radio Leeds on Monday that we haven't found a way of winning whilst playing crap essentially. Have we added that string to our bow after that performance? Not surprised at how crap Bunn was yet again. He really has been a waste of space every time he's played recently. I do hope he regains some form and proves me wrong but him compared to VLP & Kachunga really looks like different classes at the moment.

I think that was another performance that we needed to have, i dont think we played bad but it was more scrappy than anything else, so to be scrappy and snatch a goal whilst also keeping the clean sheet is a good thing.
Friday i can see the game being more open and we may have to play on the break again, but if we get a foothold of the game like we have done on so many occasions theres no reason we cant do some damage to Norwich's playoff ambitions.
As for bunn i cant remember when he last played well from the start. Seems to have a bit of an influence when he comes off the bench, but you cant get paid over 10k a week just to look pretty good for 20mins...
Wouldnt surprise me if he left this jan or next summer. He'll be one of the players who has to watch his back. Scannell is probably in the same bracket.
