In all honesty a Rest will do him the world of good, he has put a lot of pressure on himself of late. I world like to see how clark and miller get on as a partnership for a couple of games, but as stated McCoist seems devoid of change unless forced.

Boyd put a lot of pressure on himself lately, are ye having a laugh- needs to lay off the pudding suppers guys. Just does not look like a professional footballer who can hack it in the Champoinship at the moment. Maybe down to lack of ambition now as he " has done it all before" or perhaps down to lack of quality play and support from his team-mates. Either way, he ain't got it at the moment IMO.

He was on fire last season for Kilmarnock and scoring for fun in a poor side....I don't think he's the problem, but he'll get the blame for it...that's for sure
