You're absolutely right hfcbounce. A Hibs contact at the club confirmed that fact to me this morning. Also the Hibs kids initiative has been very positive for this match with lotsa cheap tickets being taken up - should be a great atmosphere! Thumb up

Ouch!!! Pick yourselves back up, dust off and go again!! No bad runs needed, so come straight back after this defeat with a win!!

Aye, reminded me of many games last year. Lots of huff and puff against a team that came to park the bus, and they then had to come out after we scored and got a lift with the red card for Bartley. We looked a little sluggish all afternoon.

Their first goal could have been prevented as there was no need to let the ball out for a corner?? Rocky should have been busting a gut to get to it as we were down to 10 men Their second showed Stevenson for what he is....their player showed great pace and left him for dead. That capped a generally poor afternoon for LS......but he wasn't the only one.  Doh

I would still like to see Boyle on for his pace and Keatings for his deadball kicks and crosses. Some of our crossing and final balls today were woeful.

Anyway, lets learn from it and try to come back stronger next game.   Thumb up

I'll let 0762 discuss the referee's performance. Whistle Doh

Don't think I would want to have been in the dressing room afterwards....not even as a fly on the wall!   Whistle

really disappointing result.

I guess we all see the games differently,i thought we played fine today barring a bit of madness from bartley we would have got the 3 points. No idea what rocky was thinking about letting that go for a corner,he could have went for a burger and back and still kept it out.

Bottom line was we didn't make our first half dominance count, and paid the price for it. The game with queens next week becomes really important now,we need to go there and do the business.

lennon said during the week we weren't good enough to get complacent. He was right.

I must refer to that poor refereeing performance anyway, something I'm starting to greatly detest commenting on - Hibs were poor but this guy 'made this shock result' and why on earth was Bartley red carded??? This referee imploded after the Bartley incident - an absolutely woeful and unacceptable performance! Thumb down  Who was this ref? Was he suffering from heat stroke? What a lovely sunny day for a game, a very healthy attendance and the fans are served with that type of poor display against shit opponents with a shit ref thrown in for good measure. It has been previously mentioned there will be blips along the way to winning the Championship and this was one of them! However, the timing of this shock result matches us up to QOS in the next fixture on their shit artificial pitch - an opportunity for revenge and a challenge to impose a 2 pts lead over them by next Saturday night. But will Hibs take up that challenge because that's how league titles are ultimately won? You quickly bounce back with a vengeance!!!

We are a point behind Queens so the best we can do is be 2 points in front after next weeks game.

Don't no if nobody else noticed but Rockys left leg was giving him grief that's why he could not run for the ball from Hanlon.

Said earlier this was a banana skin and so it proved never really got going in our stride maybe if Holts header had went in from the first minute and the one that comes back off the post things would have been different they where in our box twice and scored twice dust ourselfs down and kick some ass next week c'mon the hibs

ref was poor, but it was a red card for me. everyone around me knew he was off, bartley should have known better.

Refereeing apart, a big question posed by many Hibs fans, incl me, before this match and at HT was why did Lenny play a defensive mid player like Marvin anyway???? It didn't make sense and Lenny still never 'saw the light' after HT!! Surely McGeouch was the easy mid option in this type of match unless he's carrying an injury? Also he was on the subs' bench and was there to be used if required! The QOS fixture suddenly becomes a massive one although I must say the biggest result of the day was Falkirk's 3-1 win over Dundee Utd - I'll take that result because I don't rate Falkirk that highly as much as I don't rate QOS either after watching their ordinary looking 'backs to the wall' team at ER in that recent league cup tie robbery at ER! Their manager's game plan centres around an impact player/veteran striker named Stephen Dobbie and this time I hope Lenny sees through it. gives that ploy some respect and deals with it in the necessary way. Also I hope the guys who can definitely score goals for Hibs, other than Jason, start doing exactly that because that is part of the problem we observed today although we've had a great start to the season all the same. Lastly I hope we don't have a goalie prob - we could really do without that prob arising again!!!
