shite friendly game

Turkey's first defeat for 18 months so a good result for us.

Kane & Vardy showed that they can work together well with a goal each plus Vardy winning a penalty. Defensively, we still have a long way to go but we have several exciting attacking players so could go a long way.

Went to the England game yesterday. Enjoyed the day out more than the actual game. England seemed in control for the most part but both teams looked quite poor at the back at times and England's winner was the result of a set piece that was poorly defended. The main thing for me was that my nephew enjoyed the game. I stopped worrying about England a long time ago!

Not sure I'd call it a good result, England managed to do what was expected of them, and as usual made hard work of it. Never looked truly convincing.
Wednesday play more fluid, attractive football these days and that's saying something!!!!

The only notable games Turkey have played in the last 18 months have been a 1-1 draw and 3-0 win over Holland. Whom are pants these days. Their other games were against Qatar, Latvia, Bulgaria, Czech Rep, Iceland, Sweden.
That said it would be fair to say standards-wise, Turkey aren't that far behind England really.

We'll never be free of Woy, and when he finally does go there's a carbon bloody copy already prepped with his "yes man" vocabulary..
As with every other illusion of choice in Britain you have none. Just as Johnson is related to Cameron, descendants of William IV & George II respectively. Blue blood oligarchy all the way down for centuries.. Farage, the son of a stockbroker millionaire.
