Chester, Lescott and McLean have all been dropped to the bench. He should have played CB anyway not at right back, felt sorry for him looked out of place and lost.

It looks like either the 4-4–2 that Dan has written or a 4-1-4-1 with Gardner and Berahino as our wingers, Morrison and Fletcher in central midfield and Yacob as the holding midfielder.
A few surprises such as Lescott and Chester being dropped and Olsson brought in but maybe Tony wants to shake things up a bit after Monday's poor showing from the players.

Looks another poor selection from Pulis imo, we have 3 wingers now and we still don't start any of them.

It doesn't fill me with excitement either, but I really don't rate either of the Macs so I don't blame TP for not playing them. I do blame him for signing them though.

I reckon it'll be Saido and Gardner out wide. Glad Yacob is back in the team but Gardner shouldn't be starting (obviously). Our bench looks very strong but the starting line up is bewildering. I think Lescott must have had a minor injury problem but Chester is probably just dropped. Come on you baggies.

I thought Lescott was our best player against Man City. McManaman should be starting instead of Gardner.

A lot of people are mentioning that Chester was playing out of position, but I got the idea he was bought to play at right back. Does seem strange to see him dropped already because Man City isn't really a fair game to judge anyone on.
Looks a marginally better line up but really hate the fact we've spent over £20m and Gardner is still in the side. Hopefully he makes me eat my words with one of his rare screamers today
