Can'tsee us getting owt from this.....too good a team - 35pts in the Premier equates to about 70 in this league and Mr Blobby will have em fired up whereas our pensioner back libe will be run ragged.

Lets hope Powell goes for it and doesn;t play 1 up front......might as well lose 5-0 as 1-0......

Fingers crossed we fluke a goal......and defend a sh!tload better than we have been otherwise we will get bent over !

To be fair Theo it'd take more than a few darts & a bow and arrow to take the Goodyear Blimp out, an anti-tank gun like Kim Yong-Un uses to tell his staff off

We finished last season with some good results from the last 6-7 matches but I have a nagging feeling we could struggle this year.

If we don't start too well, Powell could be under pressure!

Can anyone explain why Dean Hoyle chooses managers who sound as though they ought to be on suicide watch when giving aftermatch interviews. Totally dispiriting.

Powell WILL come under pressure, it probably has something to do with the desperately poor defence and the fact he doesn't seem to have either marshalled them into a cohesive unit or indeed improved on the quality therein.
On the plus side he didn't get suckered into signing 'hoofer'. Sadford fans seem happy though[Image: huh.png]

I'm another that doesn't see us getting anything out of this but I'm not too bothered about that, what I want to see is hard graft and a team that looks like it's working for each other. Cast your minds back to our first game in the Championship at Cardiff where we were undone in the dying moments but gave Cardiff one almighty battle on the pitch, that's the kind of performance I want to see from Town tomorrow.

Outdone by Mark Hudson, if I remember rightly. Would love a last minute Mark Hudson winner tomorrow.

5 mins gone and still 0-0. Either we're improving or Hull are no Bournemouth. Lots of time to go yet mind. Whistle

Forget the result. We didn't actually play that badly but then again we were far too conservative in our attacking approach. I understand why Wells played up top on his own but it doesn't work.
More worrying is the fact Vaughan,Lolley and Scannell are all injured and it really highlights how?weak the squad is

Since Vaughan signed for you how many games has he missed by being injured?? He always seems to be injured but I don't remember him being injury prone prior to him joining you. Without him, or a suitable replacement, the goals are going to be difficult to come by, get him fit and he will get 15+ and really take the pressure off other players.
