I've heard juice called skoosh before but not sure it's an edinburgh thing

No, "skoosh" was also fizzy drink. Onomatopoeia for opening a well shaken bottle, I would imagine.

As usual , you missed or chose to miss the context- Hibs will win the championship, whether it will be a " skoosh" case remains to be seen.
