Bit nervous about this game tonight. The daunting spectre of McCulloch pervades the tortured mind.

Last played in the 2-2 with Falkirk couple of weeks ago. Back in the squad for tonight.

Stuart McCall tells STV no changes to his team that drew with QOS for tonight's game v Hibs. Looks like 4-4-2 formation #Rangers

So says big Raman. Thumb up

Don't see him playing unless you have a lead going into last 10 then maybe come on to tighten things up

2-0. That'll do. Half way there.

Just as I predicted.

Rangers 2-0 Hibernian

Advantage Rangers, off a decent display, especially our defence, which was coherent and effective.
Both defences were dominant in this match.

A bit too much slack passing in the midfield but you can't complain about much after that result.

Not over by a long shot yet of course, but it's a decent advantage to take to Easter Road. Tactics there might be the problem if we're not careful. McCall will be inclined to go 3-5-2 and try to dominate the middle but Stubbs knows this and might go 4-3-3 against it, which is a notoriously successful way to overcome the 3-5-2.

Our short passing seemed way off. Until a wee bit of magic from Vuckic.

McCall seems capable of nullifying Hibs.
