QPR fans seem to have fallen out of love with Cifuentes.

I hope it's not another major waiting game. Our new owners are falling into the same old trap. Hang on until all the good options have already found jobs. We can then start looking at the dross that are left. Sounds familiar.
GET HIM IN NOW.

Links to Cifuentes coming thick and fast now, after QPR have placed him on 'gardening leave', not sure he would be the right fit for us, 'if any of this is true', and I don't see anything he did at QPR to fill me with confidence.

Just seen this on the net:
@JPercyTelegraph #wba new manager - West Brom are still going through the recruitment process and no one has been offered the head coach role at this point. Marti Cifuentes, who has been placed on gardening leave by #QPR, is NOT on the shortlist as it stands

I read somewhere that Craig Dawson will be out of contract at the end of this season and it’s very unlikely that Wolves will renew his contract. I wouldn’t expect any other Prem team to come in for him, including those newly promoted teams as he’s 35. So, how would my fellow Baggies feel about a return to the Hawthorns?
Personally, I’d be very happy to see him back. I think he’d be a great mentor for Caleb Taylor and he’d be a whole lot better than Bartley. With Ajayi leaving, we need another centre back to support Heggem. Him and his family seem very settled in the West Midlands, a key reason for his move from West Ham to Wolves, so I think it might be an attractive move for him as well. You’d only be looking at a two year contract as well. Apologies I meant to post this in the section on transfers

Not been mentioned at all, but I'm sure we could do a lot worse.... ![]()

But at this moment we need someone who has a track record (not established) and on the way up. I’d take Russell Martin but he needs players that fit into his playing style. Not out of the question as we are likely to totally overall the squad.

Yeah, I know what you mean Stairs - it'd be really sad for an absolute club icon to fail and then lose some of that hero status. On reflection wouldn't it be great to have him here as an assistant to a HC with a track record, like you say, with a view to the future, maybe? But even that could be more of a misty-eyed idea, I suppose!! ![]()

Mozza doesn't want the job on a full time basis. But we do have someone at the club who would.
You heard it here first. We will be making ****** the new coach.
