Wigan away - take 2
#11
The B team are playing Wigan at Canalside this afternoon, with five trialists in the line up.

This could be some potential new signings. Or more likely just five geezers who were passing by and got called in for a game because our entire available playing staff are on the coach for tonight's match.

It was Preston, not Wigan and one of the trialists scored in a 2-1 win.

Not sure about Nicholls as skipper.

Shocking defending there from Brodie. One nil down already.

I thought we might have hit rock bottom with the performance on Saturday. Quite unbelievably, that first half was even worse.

Particular pelters in the first half for Sorensen, Ruffels, Spencer, Lonwijk, Kasumu, Evans, Wiles, Marshall, Koroma and Charles. Nicholls has let two in, but made one good save, so I;ll let him off for now. His distribution is as bad as ever however.

Charles and Marshall link up for the first time and we've one back.

Well the second half was better, but not much better. Charles showing what he can do when he gets some of the ball. Great turn, run to beat his man and a smashing centre for Marshall.

Chewy came on and had a shot that was inches wide. Would've been goal of the season had it gone in. But it didn't and we've lost again to a piss poor League One side in the bottom half of the table.

It’s rubbish, someone has to go. Directer of football, manager or both. Slowly but surely going backwards and not just on the pitch

Hogg now has a knee injury. Kasumu has done his hamstring. Balker out for 2 to 4 weeks.
