2-1 up and Raith weren't even worth their goal, but our confidence is fragile and I won't be shocked if we somehow throw this away - we were the better team against this lot last time too. But again the play has been so much better, and we're making chances now too. Law has been rejuvenated by McDowall's shake up of the team, Murdoch has been a breath of fresh air and Vuckic provides great link ups. If Clark had his shooting boots on tonight we'd be running away with this one. I said after Ally left that I'd expect and be content with a run of poor results as long as there were signs of progress in our play so I can't claim to be disappointed. Keep going like this and we'll see much better results ahead.
By the way, I know I've complained about Simonsen's fear of leaving his line but you can go too far the other way. Someone needs to tie a bungee cord or something to Robinson.

At last a winning result...it's been a while.
We do need to start making more of our chances: 43 shots, with 17 on target and only 2 goals from this and lat week's game isn't great.
Still, onwards and forwards while endeavouring to persevere.

Much better performance from the snippets I was able to see. Starting to see times where we're pushing a higher defensive line at last, and the difference it makes is like night and day.
Much better tempo in midfield, maybe that's influenced by Vuckic and Murdoch's introduction to the side. Murdoch especially looks a bright one, and scored a great goal.
Work still needs to be done defensively and, as TheWorthinGer says, up front. Some of our finishing has been woeful.
Overall though, encouraging signs and playing well will build confidence.

There's been a marked improvement in the playing style and attitude in the past two games, if you can't see that then I doubt your opinions concerning football carry much weight.

Course he sees it. His post was disingenuous right from the 'Let's be honest' part. Celtic were pish against us too but that didn't make us look good. Hearts were pish against us in the season opener but we were still clearly poor in that match. The opposition's level of performance doesn't directly dictate our own.
