I have just read exactly the same story, but relating to the 'Vile', suggesting they will buy Alexandra Stadium and the surrounding land and build a 70,000 seater with all the amenities including a hotel.

Regardless of our rivalry with the Vile, I’d hate to see a traditional ground like Villa Park go the way of so many others, and replaced by an identikit stadium that has not one jot of atmosphere

I don't 'get' these new fans like Hammers/Spurs/Brighton etc who are now pretty-well doubling their attendances of 5-6 years ago.
Where were they 5-6 yrs ago, is what I don't 'get' ??? They can't all be real fans.

Definitely. Absolutely.
To be a REAL fan, you have to suffer; yup, suffer most of the time with a few moments of disbelief thrown in..... then back to the suffering.
