The only surprise here is that hugill didn’t get his hat trick against us. As poor a striker as we’ve ever had at the Albion couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo when he played for us rams the final nail in our coffin. It’s probably just as well we don’t go up this year as we would get slaughtered in the prem! Very disappointing but predictable. It’s time for QPR to get a win isn’t it?

I've not commented on the last few games as I've been away and only caught the highlights...
But today I saw the entire game and it really was a pathetic performance. Top to bottom. That said, when you take O'Shea and Yokuslu out of the team - arguably our only 2 consistent performers - that's the reality of what you're left with... That goalkeeper and back 4 are as bad as any side in the division. The midfield likewise. Forwards, well, it's irrelevant because they don't get any service. In Furlong and Townsend, we have 2 full backs who are bang average at this level on their best day. As for Semi Ajayi, what the hell has happened to him? Today he couldn't do even the most basic defending, missing the ball for basic clearances and the like. Pieters is the best of the bunch, but he's a full back playing at centre half so forget about him doing any dirty defending. Griffiths made some good saves today, but I'm not sure how he managed to concede the first goal. Header right down the centre of the goal at snails pace that he seemed to dive over it. I keep reading about how "impressive" he is, but almost every time I've seen him he has cost us a goal. For me it's beggars belief that we have entered the free transfer market multiple times over in the past couple of years and we haven't managed to secure an old, steady goalkeeper. Goalkeeper cock ups alone must've cost us a good 10 points this season. The middle of the park today was absolutely useless. We have all been clambering for Gardner-Hickman, but in his rare features under Corberan, I can't help thinking that his early performances were just a flash in the pan. As for Chalobah, so far, he's shown nothing to suggest he's worthy of anywhere near the (undoubtedly) high salary we're paying him. As for Swift and Wallace, I barely noticed they were playing. In the case of Swift, this happens far too often and it's becoming apparent that he's one of those players that looks far better in a highlights package than in reality. The crazy thing is, by some miracle we're still in touch with the playoffs. But with our injuries and lack of quality, I don't feel like we don't have a win in us.

We have as much chance of us getting out this league (and down again) as me having a booze up with the King. It's a no-no, and will continue to be until we get cash injected into the club (soon be going around with a cap me thinks).
As I said last year, i prefer the Championship, it's more our cuppa tea, but when we get hammered by teams at the bottom of the league, I think that tells you we are in the right league. Now will we beat qpr, answers on a post card stamp please. ![]()

We might be winning at half time but since our second goal we have been dire, it is hard to understand some of these tactics, I get keeping the ball and playing out, but the clue is in the phrase playing out. Not playing out and back in again then giving the ball away, we are not even challenging for the ball, just standing in front of their players. Are our management team the only ones on the planet who can't see we are streets better with Wallace on the right. Chalobah, I am still trying to figure out what he is bringing to the party! So frustrating.

We were lucky to get the draw, 1 point from two games against teams in 18th and 20th in the league before today's game and these players think they should be in the Premiership, I am not going to blame CC, he was the only one who showed any passion, I'll bet the team doctor had the blood pressure tablets ready. Of course Sam Field demonstrated what I think most of us knew, compare him to Chalobah. Beggars belief. Off to find a dark corner.

I will cut CC some slack, but he’s got to start doing things right as well. Chalobah is absolute shite and should have been hauled off at half time. Albrighton can’t go back to Leicester quick enough, although he is getting some experience of the championship which is where he’ll plying his trade next season (hopefully not with us). I don’t think I have ever seen a so called bunch of professional footballers steal a living like the dross on display today. It is a team that would struggle in league one with not a single redeeming feature. The really worrying thing is that not one of them has any value so will remain with us next season, and with no money to invest ln new players there is no future.

Only a tenuous link to today’s game but, in the light of Griffiths’ unfortunate mistake today, how good to see an ex-Baggie keeper perform heroics. Here’s to Fozzie saving a 96th minute penalty to give Wrexham a 3-2 win over Notts County. Always a Baggie
