Ok, it's been a slow day in Zin's Wine Emporium so I've done a bit of digging into the Premiership gamball performances.
Those that have been selective about playing the gamball:
Minizin - played 5 out of 13 weeks - would be 5 points better off if he'd played it every week.
Zinman - played 10/13 - would be 1 point worse off
Sanjay - played 10/13 - would be 1 point worse off.
If everyone had chosen not to play the gamball:
Derby would be 6 points worse off
Everybody else would have scored more, in some cases (i.e Blue) considerably more!
However to go all statty - by my calculations, if people just randomly picked a result on the gamball (so a 1 in 3 chance of getting the result correct and approximately a 1 in 4 chance of then turning a correct result into a correct score) playing the gamball should have lost you just 6 points to week 12. The fact that Derby is the only player in the Premiership beating a chimpanzee with a keyboard suggests that we may all be overthinking it!

They say that ignorance is bliss - no wonder so many people are happy.
