WBA vs Hull - Match Thread

Ska'd,
Great thread as normal bud.
Now....
For the first time for at least 12 months really looking forward to the Hull game. Agree with posts so far this is a must win game and I think we will. 2-1 baggies.
Let's get the shrine rocking and start the TP era with a win.
Have to say that although the opinion is divided on Samaras he has looked good to me when coming on with good touch and A+ at bringing others into the pattern of play.
Very interested in TP's starting line up now that the old guard have been cleared out.

And that has to be the ultimate indictment of our previous two numpty head coach appointments.
Let's hope we can all start looking forward to watching Albion play from now on.

We'd all have been screaming if AI had picked that team and bench, as he very well could have. Let's hope TP has sprinkled them with magic dust.

Good to see Ideye playing - got a feeling the training ground delivered something more under TP's tutorage.

I constantly tell people that the same squad can fall apart or shine when a new manager is appointed. So much relies on personalities and motivational skills. It might look very similar to AI's selections. I'd expect it, both AI & TP are footballing men - its just TP can motivate and drive the players, whereas AI could not.

Having said that before the match, lets hope I see evidence of what I preach on the pitch today!

Glad to see TP's read my post on the transfer talk thread and has stuck to the obvious spine of Foster-Lescott-Yacob/Sessegnon-Berahino while also taking the opportunity of having a look at Baird and Ideye - ha!
Ideal opportunity for this group to impress and make their places their own.
Let us pray, BaggieVicar and Stairs.

Ideye misses a sitter - that lad has to score a couple today or he'll be leaving the club before next weekend (loan or sale). Big day for him.
