Cheers BaggieBob, Thumb up more readers means eventually more contributors.

I cast an eye over your board from time to time and pass the occasional comment too, living amongst the Dingles you need a bit of sanity in your life occasionally. They've been very quiet for some reason this season, can't quite think why? Anyone would think they haven't been allowed out for a year. Smartass Whistle

PS I saw what you did there ritchie - could have been a bit nearer the knuckle too, so well done for keeping it family friendly Thumb up

I like a prawn and marie rose sauce in my teacake so maybe I could mix it in the director's box. Until I open my mouth.

The rest of the time I am vegetarian, so I like a grilled halloumi and olive bap, or roasted veg and feta, or good old cheese and pickle / caramelised onion chutney (I favour wensleydale, Gromit). I love a sarnie.  Tongue

I have a love / hate relationship with Delia. I don't actually think she's that good a cook. Is she just following recipes or is she creative? I'm not sure. My family owned a bakery and I'm not sure she'd pass Colman's mustard.

I'm not sure about tonight. Depends if we can keep Pookey and the boys quiet. All I can hear is Mrs Merton's voice when they say Pukki's name. We'll probably hammer 'em 4-0.  Doh Big Grin  Rolleyes

Oooh I grew up in the 60s / 70s. Prawn cocktails in a shell (glass at home) were the height of sophistication and I loved the taste. I'm sure you remember it, theo.   Tongue

There was a sandwich shop in Dewsbury called Anne's Pantry, owned later by Dempster Lister's. They did the best prawn cocktail on white. For a change I might have a cheese slice in a currant teacake. Ever tried that? I don't know if it's a Yorkshire thing?

I'm hungry now.  Doh

Remember it? My cousin stills serves it up for Christmas Day lunch starters. I'll never get to forget it. Laugh Laugh

I ain't seen proper current teacakes down here for ages. You're lucky if they offer a choice of brown or white.

Anyroad - I've a wok full of chicken curry on the go - you need far too many of 'em to make it worthwhile to do a canary curry. Should be fully fettled for half-time if I remember to throw the peas and a few more 'erbs in on the 35-40 minute mark.
