Well done Sam J . I think

Sam deserves the credit. I would think the England call up will add a few million to his value. Tottenham are leading the chase for his signature. We now come to his actual value. With Liverpool and Chelsea paying circa £70 million for their keepers and Everton £30 million for Pickford. I would expect Sam to be around the £20+ million mark? I would have financial reservations about selling him to Spurs as they are known for paying small sums monthly over long periods. Levy still believes in hire purchase agreements.
Good luck to Sam wherever he ends up.
I would immediately promote Button and make Alex Palmer No2 and Giffiths 3rd choice. We have a rich vein of young up and coming goal keepers to exploit. No need to blow millions on a replacement. Buying OK must be our priority IMO.

Josh Griffiths, on loan at Cheltenham, is doing a stirling job with I think at least 17 clean sheets so far this season. He has made many fine saves and the only area where he needs to improve, is his distribution out of hand which can be wayward at times.

Forgot to mention that he too has been called up for England; at Under21 level. Thumb up

A goalkeeper merry-go-round may be underway.
Loris leaves Spurs - Spurs sign Pope as his replacement - Burnley come in for Johnstone?
Some logic in the circulating media gossip.

Robson-Kanu sent home from the Wales squad for staying up late, or something.
Probably just an excuse because they've suddenly realised he's dreadful.

Sam is back on the Seals radar now. Being in demand can only drive his value up. But back to the Seals would feel like a slap in the face IMO.
