Don't tie your knickers in a knot AmChaff ... well unless it worked at Wemberlee Whistle

No homework handed in at all. Tsk, tsk. Detention for everyone tomorrow morning.
Meet in my back garden to dig out the weeds, paint the fence panels and sow the early seeds for the spring. 9:30 prompt or your on double detention after school Monday. Who you sow the early seeds of spring with with is none of my business Whistle

I'll put the kettle on.

Laugh  None of my superstitions involve discomfort.

It's a bit sad seeing O'Brien up against Morrison.

That was a poor excuse for a corner.

TAKE YOUR CHANCES!

Walking football again.

Poor quality football from both sides.

That's the best excuse (well only excuse) I've seen tonight. You're in charge of detention jjamez.
I'm staying under the duvet until mid-day. Let me know how you get on.

Meanwhile I've been painting the back of a stand at the Wolves, does anyone else want to come down and watch it dry with me?
ASDA is open late so we can get a few beers in.

jjamez - go back and read the thread again.

Homework
Compare and contrast this table with the current table above.
Homework to be handed in for marking before kick-off Friday night.

Then report to the Headmistresses underwear department for formal addressing, or is that undressing? of this issue.

Another penalty missed. Sanogo this time.   Doh

Should have gone for a £1 for every pen missed

Well we've got a clean sheet. Rolleyes

Another shocker from the penalty spot. Three taken, three missed. Not saved, missed!

What a shame the one really good chance we had, from Pipa, produced a brilliant save.

Apart from that, we defended well for the majority of the game. Looked a bit shaky at times, but Cardiff were utter shite and it's a mystery how they're so high in the table.

Actually, that's four misses in a row now. Karlan Grant missed the last one of last season down at Birmingham. Blush

I have to say I was very impressed with some of the changes last night. Yes the football was shite at times and it was a dull game....but.....

The defence are finally learning that in positions where trying to play football is risky, then just hoof the bloody thing upfield. They started doing that a lot more.
Sanogo as a target man up top to flick on balls for Campbell worked a good few times. We've not had that option for a long long time. Apart from the penalty miss, which was shocking, I thought he had a great game.
Limited Cardiff to hardly anything, a volley from outside the box their best chance.
O'Brien, who has been crap for quite a while, was excellent last night. MOM closely followed by Rowe.

If we keep to that style of football, we will be a lot harder to beat. And if we can start taking our chances, we should start winning again soon.
