The Push for Promotion - Act 2 Season 2015-16
Williamson was voted the worst player in Newcastle's history.

Far better with Sasso.

If get shut of Turner as well. Injury prone and will be costing us a few quid.

Loovens, Sasso, Lees and 1 other will be plenty. Especially as we have Hutch as emergency cover and Pudil can also be used in a crisis.

I'd expect Matias should be back anytime in the next week or two. It was several weeks ago he had a hernia op.

Hernia op !! i didnt realise that ? well thats different then , he will hopefully carry on playing without being injured in the future then !!

I think Matias will be like a new signing. Let's remember I think I am right in saying that he has yet to play in the same team as Forestieri and Bannan!! When he was playing he was trying too hard to do all the flair work himself, now he will have a team around him who can take that burden and allow him to play in a better team than the one at the start of the season.

My concern with Matias is that he doesn't get involved much in matches (a bit like Sougou & Joao) whereas Hooper, Nuhiu, Bannan, FF & Lee get far more involved in terms of touches, passes, tackles etc. I feel if Matias plays then it will be hard to play Joao or Sougou in the same team. Significantly, it will probably force CC to play Nuhiu more until we bring in a bigger/better striker until Joao gets more involved.

Hopefully, Matias' lack of involvement was down to his injury and that he will be more involved when he returned.

So, it'll be first stringers out to get injured. Goodbye FF, Jaoa, Bannan, Wallace and all the other good players we need FIT for the rest of the season.

Who in hell's name gives a damn about the cup when promotion is at stake?

Like MS, the jury was still out on Matias as far as I was concerned. He looked a bit 'fragile' in challenges and tackled opponents about as much as Wallace, i.e. hardly ever. I hope he does come good as it would be like a new signing, as many have already pointed out.

Hopefully we keep Hooper for at least the rest of the season and get in a couple more to bolster the squad further.
