Tbf I've never seen Nuhiu play like that before today. He was excellent.

Wasn’t expecting that after their equalizer and the continued help to them from the ref after Dave’s second. Looks like he’s playing for a contract extension and based on today’s performance probably deserves another year. A pity he only plays like that 1 in 10 games though.

Hopefully today is the catalyst that will bring a few more wins and safety with games to go.

That was Nuhiu’s best performance for a while, not just the goals but his flick on’s and hold up play were better than what we have seen recently. Hutch made us more solid at the back, Pelupessy seemed a bit lost in the first half with Hutch doing the defensive role but he had a good second half. Reach had a decent first half but struggled in the 2nd half, he looks knackered and I am sure is looking forward to a couple of weeks break!! I thought Pudil had another good game and Hunt had his best game in a while as well. Overall it was a good performance, best we have had since the Derby one possibly and a much needed 3 points. No real poor performances from anyone for a change!!

Great win making us a 50% ratio in the derby games this season  any other season it would have helped very much when youre talking about 6 games! and offcourse no even thinking about the beating the scrubbers gave us and a nice double of the scum always makes the beer taste sweeter with added sugar that Nuhui scored 2 and one brilliantly taken goal when we thought the only outcome would have been leeds scoring

didnt watch the first half and i wasnt impressed with the second half either as there were too many negative badly passed balls just about everytime we did get controll i think jos is xxxx useless and i want him gone but the fact is he will be going nowhere unless clownsiri sell up

Ill agree with charlie about the players i thought minge came into his own game in the last 30 minutes and gave us some added steal in the middle of the park ! i thought Hutch and bannan were absalute wank though but first games back is never easy for even the best of players ... which these too are not they wont save us from shipping goals in thats for sure as again we saw Bannan bullied of the ball way to easy and Hutch can only pass backwards as hes still suffering the Carlos effect

Agree with SCO. Best performance for a long, long while. If we can keep that form up we'll be fine. And, believe me, if Nuhiu continues to play like he did today, I'd give him another year's extension. I thought it was a different player out there.

Imre, you are talking some bollox there mate!!!

For starters we are 8 points above relegation and with our GD being so much better that might as well be 9!!. For us to get relegated, 5 of the 7 teams below us how to at the very least outperform us, not much to ask for from Hull and maybe Bolton, but the rest will struggle to just catch us assuming we get no more points lets alone if we pick up a few more!! The bottom 5 teams have won just 2 games collectively in their last 25 games combined - one of which was today for Brum!! Aside from that we still have to play Reading and Sunderland, both games we can win especially if we get a couple more of our first team back by the time they come around.

We did ok in the first half today, Hutch looked solid but tired in the 2nd half to be expected but in the first half he seemed to always look for the forward pass unlike our previous midfielders and Bannan started off ok but we were under the kosh a while in the second half with them chasing the game once we scored, so I didn’t think he was that bad.

I want to get one more win quickly because I am sure that will see us safe for sure. Then lets get the first team back and see what Jos can do. I still think he is what we need, he is stricter with the players than Carlos was, he will get them properly fit and he has multiple times built teams to win promotion. We are now rebuilding, I would expect us to finish easily mid-table next season, maybe push for the playoffs but that would be a bonus, so we need a manger who can build a team without spending millions and with playing the youth - I would like to see Jos given time to do this.

Don’t ignore what your head is saying Pei!!! We see these games from Nuhiu every once in a while but we can do better than him and probably with someone younger. We won’t get promoted with him in the team, but he is a hard worker when the team is doing badly and we sometimes need that. Problem is he is out of contract, this is the time to let him go because we will never get a fee for him anyway.

But yes he had a very good game today.

TBF to Dave, he's been one of our best players since pre Christmas and without his contributions, goals and assists (and he was one of the best defenders today too), we'd be in the bottom three by now. I don't pretend that he's a fantastic player that will get 20 a season but I just find all the criticism of him laughable given the contributions of the rest of the squad. Nobody has actually stepped up and kept him on the bench or out of the squad have they
