WBA Transfer Window - Final Day
Sturridge over deeney any day England international natural goal scorer deeney no disrespect but we have similar in Rondon and Kanu hard working hold the ball up yes but not natural goalscorers it seems. It’s not a done deal but apparently Sturridge wants wba for family reasons not sure what that means but it’s sounding positive. Can’t see a better option than this personally

If it goes thru, it seems Pardew is a big influence.  But he's on £120, ooo a week at the moment - phew. And there's Sturrie as well. Seems that Evans will have to go!!!!

Express & Dingle video reports saying it a done deal and Sturridge had a medical this afternoon. £120,000 a week though, according to Sky a deal for Edin Dzeko from Roma to Chelsea has fallen through because Chelsea would not pay him £120,000 a week.

A fit and firing Sturridge - Yes

The injury plagued hypercondriac of recent years Sturridge - No

If it comes off then I hope he comes in fit and firing and hits the found running.

For a million and a half it's a no-brainer. That's less than we paid for Odemwingie in the days when prices were still sane, and if it goes wrong then we're not stuck with him either.

With Rondon and J-Rod finding form we may not even need him, but to have him as a third option over HRK may just save our season.
