They certainly do and please don't use me in any of your fantasies, it's rather unsettling.

Ah, you can't beat undermining the very foundation of British justice: habeus corpus, begone.

Pure bigotry, of course, to presume that because an individual is on the board of Rangers he would agree with or even condone sectarian behaviour of any kind.  You're still blind to your own failings while jabbing your malicious finger in other people's faces.

The apology was not related to any singing in the stadium it solely concerned the unfounded accusation that that an unnamed individual from a named group was a bigot.  All of the members of the Rangers board could have sued from damages. They would have won. The paper, quite possibly, would have been no more.  However, the Rangers board members, very charitably, opted to accept the apology tendered by the newspaper.  You'll note that Spiers has not repeated his accusation in any other written medium.

Muppet.

Laugh

None of them have ever behaved in such a manner in the past of course. If only donald hadn't been captured on that pesky video that time the above would be getting churned out in his defence too.

Of course the piece on the director was true ffs. The gentleman concerned is very much from the "traditional" school of rangers support and it would have been entirely within character.

Can you prove it is true? Can Spiers? The simple answer to both is 'No'.

I can make unfounded claims about people too. It's really, really easy.
I suppose it's a deflection from his shit team. And you can bet your bottom dollar he is very much from traditional bigoted stock himself.

Of course it is, Trus, you and your cohorts do it regularly. If you only posted opinions that could be proven, then these boards would be much better. But, then it wouldn't be the same "fun".

I suspect you're missing the point. As virtual anonymous nobodies, our opinions are no more than that. As a journalist and recognised broadcaster, Spiers cannot state his opinions in the media without any scrutiny. There are rules and guidelines he has to adhere to. Rules he ignored. Therein lies the difference.
Trus, you're deliberately ignoring the point - nothing new there of course. We are all posting in the media these days and should be equally responsible for that content.
