Blue. what's the chance of our board getting that right or even thinking about it? AC has stated the retained players wage bill exceeds our next seasons budget. If there is a 20% reduction then I assume he has taken it into account. Either way we are in the 5hite and unless somebody comes in and starts making some players feel uncomfortable enough to make them look elsewhere "were doomed I tell thee".
I still think Evatt could be our man and just hope the board give him a chance. If we scrape a win tonight then who knows.

Pooch, not all Holmewood players were rough and tough ........ but when they'd got Savile and Carter, that clever midfield player they'd found didn't have to worry about getting shoed out of it. Unless you wanted Lenny after your shins you didn't take liberties.

There are some very skilled players in the Vanarama. In my little imaginary squad I had Allassani, Andrade, and Kiangebeni who have genuine footballing ability. But not only have they learned to play their game in non-league, but also I have tried to come up with some other players who have a tackle or more in them. The Conference has teams with quite sophisticated playing styles, but they want to win and are also prepared to be physical to do it ........ You have to remember Danny shone for us in a division in which there were several teams whose approach was physical. In many ways he looked more like a Spanish player, BUT he could still play his game and get his goals when the opposition was physical. A touch of class can't be underestimated and he has more than a touch.

I don't think Kev knows enough about non-league, but I do think he really is prepared to work at his job. I'd have thought that after Southport's losing run, which really didn't matter, winning away 4-2 in midweek would have saved him. Saturday's defeat at Spennymoor wasn't a bad performance. And if you look at the players he's left Southport with, well they are miles better than they had when he came in. But is he the man of my dreams? Not yet.

Kev is the best outfield player we've produced in my lifetime. He was loyal and more than anyone deserved a cup final. He deserves to be a hero. He'd be a popular choice as manager, but we've already done the dirty on Danny and Jack. Do we really want to drop Kev into our chaos?

If we were a painting, we'd be by Jackson Pollock. We'd be on sale for millions, but in the gallery a lot of people would looking at us and going, "What?"

So we've had the kit cock-up, we've had players released and one not even told he was told by his mate via text who sent him a link to the news and now this.

Chesterfield have been charged for misconduct relating to financial irregularities.

It is alleged that in allowing an external organisation, namely the CFC Football Development School Ltd, to pay the wages of former players Jake Orrell and Myles Wright whilst not fully recording the payments on its accounting records, the club breached FA Rule C1.

Chesterfield have until May 17 to respond to the charge.

Which will probably mean points deduction. It's a right Fred Karno's.

Bob's Board thinks that the points deduction for next season will stop us getting a thing called promotion.

Apparently Dave Allen and Carson are upset because they thought that it was their job to stop us getting promotion.

The scary and worrying thing is Dev that I think a 3rd relegation on the bounce is possible.

If they deduct us ten points, we are certainly down.

Even if they let us off I think we'd be better of in the Eurovision Song Contest (with Father Ted).

If we go into Admin it could be another 20 which means -30.
